Summer Rugby Camps — June 29 to July 2, 2026 Join Bend Rugby for a fun, skills-focused summer camp the week leading up to the 4th of July. Camps run Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2 at Big Sky Sports Complex in Bend. Register through Bend Parks & Recreation.

Camp options and details

  • Rookie Rugby (ages 5–8) — 40 spots

  • Flag Rugby (ages 9–11) — 40 spots

  • Location: Big Sky Sports Complex (21690 Neff Rd, Bend, OR 97701)

  • Dates: Monday 06/29/2026 – Thursday 07/02/2026

  • Registration: Through Bend Parks & Recreation

What kids will do and learn

  • Learn the basics of rugby in a safe, age-appropriate way

  • Run, move, and play with the ball to build fitness and coordination

  • Practice teamwork and the spirit of the game

  • Enjoy games and activities designed to be fun and engaging

  • Each camper will leave with their own rugby ball

What to bring

  • Comfortable active wear

  • Comfortable running shoes (cleats not required)

  • Sunblock (apply before arrival and bring extra)

  • Water bottle (additional water available if needed)

Notes for parents

  • Camps are beginner-friendly and open to all skill levels

  • Each session has limited spots (40 per age group) — early registration is recommended

  • Bend Rugby coaches will supervise and lead activities with an emphasis on safety and fun
